Who do we look after

Thodaska Care provides supported accommodation to Looked After Children and Care Leavers to prevent homelessness and exploitation of vulnerable young people aged 16-25. At Thodaska, we believe in fostering an inclusive and supportive environment where everyone thrives.

Although each of our homes are individual, the policies, procedures, beliefs, and values are consistent across the community and we strive to provide the best possible outcomes for all our young people, who come to live with us.

Thodaska Care recognises the importance of enabling young people to achieve. Our services ensures that young people have a voice, and we invest in them, so they feel empowered to be active contributors during their time at Thodaska Care.

Health and Safety Statement

Thodaska aims to ensure that all activities carried out on its premises or undertaken by its staff (or their agents) are managed in such a manner so as to avoid, reduce, or control, all foreseeable risks to the health & safety of any person(s) who may be affected by such activities to a tolerable level

How we do it

Support and guidance

The solo placement also offers opportunities for individual recreational activities, allowing the resident to explore their interests and hobbies. At Thodaska, we are committed to ensuring that each young person in our solo placement receives personalised care, support, and opportunities for growth and development

Highly trained Staff

Our highly trained support staff develop comprehensive person-centred support plans which are created with the input of the young person. The support plan allows Thodaska Care and the young person to identify what support they need, their strengths and what they enjoy.

Quality Standards

The Supported Accommodation Regulations including Quality Standards set out the following key principles which Thodaska Care will apply to ensure that the support provided is a positive choice for our young person and meets their individual needs
